my obsession with......

ok, i decided not to post up the pics YET.... cause i'm soooooo lazy to do it. i've been extremely busy and am still am.. well not as busy as before but still am!!! i've just submitted my report!!! yay!!! and now i'm preparing for my management presentation next week. I'VE ONLY GOT 3 WEEKS AND 2 DAYS LEFT TILL MY FIRST PAPER!!!!! GOSH!!! damn u cute countdown! (siapa suruh letak kan..) hehe :P. anyway, there'll be a farewell dinner most probably on the 16th of May and i'm in charge of food and decorations! the theme is Retro Flashback! i'm sooo excited! it's the hippies era. sooo PEACE DUDE.. :) . so yes, with that, presentation and studies! wooh! one busy bee alright!
hmm, it has been raining the whole day today! saya hampa. oh oh, this may seem really random but but, ada this one group of guys in my lecture and they're all international students in that one gang. One Italian, 3 frenchs, one norwegian, one indian, and one is from i think he's from cyprus.. they are all intelligent and goodlooking. if they seat in a row in the lecture cam waahhhhhh.... hahahha! :P

ANYHOO, referring to my title of this post. i was once obsessed with this South Korean pop singer, dancer, model, AND actor named Jeong Ji-Hoon or better known as RAIN!!!! wooooohhh!!!! haahhahaha! started after i watched Full House. i had his pictures all over my room back in college. open my cupboard and pap gambar rain kat cermin.. my walls where i have some words to motivate myself, a few of rain's pics around it. hahahhaha! AND THEN.. i even did a presentation on Rain!! it was for IELTS.. and miss rena let us pick our topic on what to talk about. so i talked about Rain! i even printed out pictures of him and passed it around the class for them to look at. hahahahhaha! boon seong would surely remember this presentation of mine. :P all my pictures of rain are now gone cause my old laptop went kaput and since there were no backups. yea. gone.. gone (n'sync).. one of my sad memories. :(. oh! he came to malaysia once, for his asian tour concert. i really really really wanted to go BUT i had to go back to college. nangis kut masa dlm kereta! hahaha. i got the poster jer cause my sister's boss went to the concert.. and she got the RM1000 punya ticket for free! she didn't even know who Rain was!!!!! felt like banging my head to the wall when i heard that. mmg masa tu jealous gila ar.. hahhaa. kesian soraya. well now, i'm not SO obsessed with Rain anymore cause he totally changed his look tak sukaaaaaa :( not cute anymore.. looks a bit scary too.. with the long hair and all so buffed up like Ninja Turtle. hmph. however, Full House 2 is coming soon.. hopefully he'll be the oh-so-cute Rain again! ngeee :)

so then, after rain, i'm now a lil bit.. well i don't think i'm obsessed with him yet (belum sampai tahap tu lagi).. with Daniel Philip Henney!!!! this one.. mmg omggilahandsomesmartoOOoOhawt! ahhahhhhahha! i can't remember how i found out about him. i think it was after watching Seducing Mr. Perfect which i have to say.. he IS Mr. Perfect in that movie... or when i was with Shika youtubing for something and we stumble on daniel henney.. then after that dua-dua org tersengih-sengih tgk si henney tuh. hahahahahahah!! oh the memories... :D anyway, it seems that he's not that hot in Wolverine according to some of my reliable sources :) . but i don't care.. he's Henney!! he's not even my bf and i get all protective about it when one of my friends suddenly became sooo into him.. hahhaha! dasyat kan? tuh lar. haha. my friend saw him in person before.. and she said he was such a gentleman! score! ahhahaha! Iqa told me about Lee Min Ho, another korean actor. very nice smile. tapi cam.. i dunno, there's something wrong. hahahha. me no likey but she likes him. WHY are all these korean actors so cute!! or hot!!! WHY don't the koreans in my uni look like them?! WHHYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!?!!!!?! huhhuhu.

ohmegosh, i better go now! it's already 11pm! need to do work!! bloggy made me procrastinate.. ish ish. byeeee now!! :D

ANYWAY!!!! i just came back from Lancaster Family Fun Day held by KULM and with a BIG help from the Cartmel postgrads. they were really a big help and they did a very good job at that too! haven't got the pics, so will post it up later once i have it. there was this game where wife had to stand at the finishing line and their husbands were all blinfolded. what the husband got to do was to run to their wife. the wives were holding a stick for the husband to grab on to avoid them hugging someone else's wife! the wives had to guide the husbands by shouting "Abang! Abang!" HHAHAHAHAHAHAHH! serious lawak gila. terpekik terlolong la bini2 korang suma. ahhahahha!

i joined the game "mamat stylo" and "treasure hunt". lost in both! huhuhu. but oh well, it's all in the name of fun! i joined this game called "helikopter mabuk" last minute, and it's that game where we played in BTN. for those yg pergi BTN la k. the one where we had to spin around with our finger touching the ground and then run to the finish line. but this time we had to run BACKWARDS! pening gila masa tgh spin tuh. then i had to run backwards! my friends said i was going away from the finishing line! hahhahah wasn't a straight path at all! when i reached the finish line i fell flat on my back. sakitttttt. huhu.

now, definitely no more play time for me!!! i've gotta get my coursework done, presentations and of course, study for the upcoming exam in May!!

the last stop during Easter Break!

Hello Blog!!!!!!! ngeee :D Last weekend i went to Coventry to visit my college frens! it was a great weekend!! the night i reached there, Syukri had made Cucur ikan bilis!! (as promised).. and it was good!!! thanks Syukri!!! and Faten made Padprik Ayam cause soraya nak rasa!! hahahah! it was really good too!!! and Alia made the desserts, Brownies and Pineapple cobbler! didn't taste the brownies (not a choco eater) but the pineapple cobbler sedap!!! oh oh! and Iwan rajin masak and sdap pulak tuh! thank u korang!!!!! two thumbs up for yall!

8 of us came down to coventry and joined by some of the warwick uni students, all 15 of us went to Warwick Castle last Sat and it was interesting i must say! 15 people. ramai kan?? the more the merrier! everyone who worked there were wearing those medieval clothes! is it called medieval? yes i think i'm right. anyway, yea! felt like we've stepped into another era. there were performances as well, but i only got to watch the Trebutchet where they threw a stone i think using a thing which looks like a catapult but it's called trebutchet. hhehee. wanted to watch THe Jousting show but we didn't know where it was. huhu. 7 of us then went for the Warwick Dungeons and hampa jer. tak takut pun. well, a bit scared pun cause it was dark and my imagina tion runs wild. HAHAHA. padahal nothing pun. i think London Dungeons would be much scarier! on the way back to coventry, we had a stop at Leamington Spa and went to Jephson Park just to take a few pics! it's a really nice park, with all the flowers blooming. lawaaaaa!

when we came back, Milo and laila dah pengsan (tidur i mean) and so, yazira, keena and i decided to play cards. we got bored off playing all the card games that we learn the night before, we decided to try and play Old Maid using the normal deck of cards. it was never ending! we gave up on that. hahhaha! too much cards and very small probability of getting the same cards.
btw, on fri night, when we were all playing cards, that was the first time i heard a card game called Declare and after syukri explained how it goes, Yaz didn't get it. So, i told her that u have to declare who ur boyfriend is, tuh yg declare tuh. i thought she knew i was joking. then syuk explained again and Yaz asked "so bila nak kena declare siapa partner kite?" HAHHAHAHAHHHA!! semua org cam.. larrr.. hahhahahha! kesian Yaz! sorry babe. :) then later that night, nain, mot n najib came by and i learned another card game called Loser. i think it's such a long game. not really into that one plus it was soooo quiet when we played it. hahaha semua org serious.

i hurt my left foot after all those walking around. have no idea what happened it just hurts. feels like cram but not. haha. sunday morning it still hurts but by noon it was getting better, maybe cause i kept massaging it. on Sunday, we planed to go for a picnic but it was drizzling a bit and very cloudy. so we just decided to take a walk around campus. then the guys wanted to play cricket so we all went around. i didn't play tho. there was a rugby ball, so qilotte, faten n i decided to play pass the ball. then after that milo n iffah joined and mot thought us how to play Touch Rugby!! us girls were soo used to passing the ball foreward! when we had to pass the ball backwards, it was quite tough cause we were always infront of our teammate who's having the ball! or maybe it was just me. hahahha! first timer okay! so the touching part comes. hahha touching part. k, i accidentally "touch" Faten a bit too hard i think that she fell to the ground. more like a teeny weeny push! sorry faten. lari2 pastu nak touch orang, i tertolak. then she claims Qilotte main ganas. heih budak kecik nih lar. hahahhhaha! kidding. well after that Faten made a come back!!! hahaha! qilotte was really really near to the touching line! and Faten was coming for her but she slipped and when she was falling she grabbed the nearest thing to her and it was Qilotte's hoodie!! she grabbed the hood and qilotte fell too!! sayand jer! dah nak sampai dah. hahahha fun fun! after faten and gang went back, milo and i stayed back. watched the guys played their own version of Baling Selipar. they used the cricket sticks and a tennis ball to replace the slippers. it was sooooooo funny watching their face expression when they were avoiding the ball! and when they rush to make the sticks stand. hahahaha! very entertaining.

the last night i was there, milo and i watched Takeshi's Castle!!!!!! it was so funny!!! we laughed till our stomach hurts! ahhahhhahah! the person who came up with the games is evil! i felt pity towards some of the contestants cause they were really really determined to get thru the obstacles! and when they don't get thru, cam frust jer. but their acts are funny! hahaha! Monday morning, the sun was up early and it was such a bright day!! rasa cam coventry tak nak kitorang ada kat situ jer. the whole time we were there, the weather was gloomy and on the day the last two visitors were going back, it was a beautiful day!!! cis. neway, i went to the Transport Museum with Milo before heading to the trains station. when both of us were walking around, then milo just took a look at her watch and it was alreay 12.30 and my train's leaving at 12.45!!!! ha kau, kelam kabut dua2 raja. ahahhaha! didn't take the bus cause it might come late so we went by foot! we were walking really fast and then running, then walking, then running! hahahaha! i reached there at 12.41 or so. very tiring. running around with that big bag of mine.

i didn't get to hug my friends who went back earlier. :( . really wish i had. dunno when i'll get to meet them again!! maybe back in Malaysia? with god's will, i hope so! again, thanks for the great weekend! xx!

it's my 100th post!!!!

this is my 100th post! and about time i gave my blog a facelift! :) i think it looks much prettier and cheerful now. agree? yeap! :)

i have been the ULTIMATE procrastinator i tell ya. when holiday kicks in, i seriously have no mood to study!! i have a test on the 23rd and a report to be hand in on May 6th. i've started studying, still very slow progress but nothing yet on the report. i have myself to blame really. even when i motivate myself, i still can't kick in the study mode. i think i have to go to the library but it's such a long walk and with the ever so unpredictable weather. sheesh. skejap hujan skjp terang-benderang. sometimes both at the same time. heih.

TODAY! today was fun! Nadia and I went to town and we watched 2 movies right after another!!! we watched The Haunting in Connecticut and Monsters Vs. Aliens! there were only 6 people in the cinema when we were watching the horror movie! haha! the movie was good!! t'was based on a true story too. ooOooO! hehe. oh yes, i'm most probably will be getting a niece!! congrats to my sister! hehe! very happy that Dot's a girl! well, i don't mind really if she's a girl or boy. but a girl would be so much easier to dress up! and being that she's most probably will come into this world around my birtday@ a virgo!! i have a feeling that i'll get along very well with my darling niece!!!! soooo happy!!!

after my trip to coventry, i think i better FORCE myself to work hard! with all the UMNO activities coming up. gosh. things are gonna be stress up! i can picture it now! woooh! :P ok SOraya (note to self) work hard so u can get that ever-so-hot-looking Audi u saw! let's start working with some positive thinking and a great big smile! hmm.. let's see..

Soraya

A hilarious girl, who loves T.I. SO much....(obsession lol). Shes crazyy funn, outgoing and goes with the flow. Shes not THAT mean but her poor speakers died and she gives papercuts. She likes to follow guys on the skytrain and says "Holla at ur girl" Shes gangster to the max. she has an accent and says "its unbeliewable how wiwes use winegar". Mohobattein makes her sad. She's single,looking and likes long walks on the beach holla at her;) LOL!!

EASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello helloooow!!!! :D haven't blog for quite awhile as i was busy with my assignments. now it's easter break!! yay! finally, a break! fuh!. hehe. went to Sheffield last weekend. visited my very old fren, Munirah. i knew her since i was 7 years old. i think she's one of my close buddies who knows me very well. Anyway, Sheffield is quite a nice place actually. it's like they have places to just sit around and lepak. u can just bring ur food, sit there and eat such as this one place called Winter Garden. u can just go in it and sit n eat or just sit around. i find it peaceful. when i was in there, there was a pair of newly weds who was taking a picture. aawww so sweet. dua2 pun gebu. hahahhaha. watched a theatre called An Inspector Calls, a thriller which was not bad at all. twas my first time watching a theatre in the UK so i guess it was alright. but I really really would like to watch a theatre in London. like those erm, We Will Rock You or Chicago and etc. I will one day!! well, it was a nice weekend to meet her in sheffield. it was our first sleepover!

i came back last monday and that night itself i went over to Nana's house and watched some horror movies with nadia, danny n luq. we watched 2 movies called Demonic Toys and Puppet Master. it's not scary. disgusting a bit. belum sampai tahap gory. suspense and terkejut terkejut lah kut. The Puppet Master however, i watched it back then when i was small. so i remembered it as being scary, but bila tgk balik hari tuh cam. hmmmm.. bosan. oh well, budak kecik kan tgk cerita hantu pasal puppet bunuh2 orang. it's like that movie called It. i'm sure MANY of u watched it way back then. THAT MOVIE definitely made me afraid of clowns. up till now i dislike clowns. :P . another movie that made me afraid of this humanlike dolls would be Chuckie. eeeeeeee tak sukaaaaa. and i used to have a doll that looked like that. sangat horror. always imagine stupid stuff like the doll turned looking at me or coming at me. huhuhu.

oh yea!!! Last Friday, after handing in my last coursework for the term, (well i have another one but that's due in May, hehe.) i was sooooo bored, i called up nadia n nana asking them to go out and take a walk with me. it was such a nice day that i couldn't let myself just sit around in my room. then i decided to ask danny to come along. and then i was like.. hmmmm i think i wanna go to the park. i saw a sign which said something park (can't remember the name) when i was in the bus going to town. so i invited all of them to go to the park with me. hehehhe. syaz n luq too since they're the ones who live off campus. the park wasn't what i expected it to be. i was imagining it to be like those hyde park types.. not as big but something like that. but it wasn't. in fact, luq's n syaz's campus's compund is much nicer!! we ended up taking lots of pictures there instead. we then walked to Williamson Park which is like a hutan simpanan to me. there were so many dogs there. not stray dogs but they were not on their leash.

there was this huge dog coming along the path that we were all taking and some of the guys (i won't say who..) were already in front and only us girls were left behind. SO, i asked one of the guys to stay on my left cause i was afraid that the dog might lick me or something. cause i was wearing a 3/4 tights. if i were to wear like jeans or something full length then i won't be that afraid. but u know what that guy did?! he just said "tak nak tak nak" and walk quickly in front of me. i was shocked. i couldn't believe what he had just did. one of the other girls who heard what he said was quite shocked as well. i definitely didn't expect him to do that. or even say that. what type of guy is that right?!!!!!! i was so taken aback at that moment. fine la kan, i'm not ur gf so u don't have to protect me BUT i am ur fren!!!!! and like u're a guy!!! macho la sikit. pergh. besides that, at one point, we were walking and again the guys were in front (i don't really care tho who's in front of not) but the fact that, one of my toes suddenly cramped and 2 of the guys didn't even stop, they continued walking cam urgh. u don't have to like help me but will u just stop and wait. my girlfrens of course stopped and ask if i was alright and only of the guys did stop too. but one of my frens asked me whether i was acting. ada ke tanya soalan tuh. why on earth would i be acting in pain?! maybe she doesn't know that i always get cramps at my legs. hahahha. agak pelik la tanya soalan tuh. heih. i told her no and like i always get cramp. after that i had to walk slowly and no sudden movements. Unfortunately, on the way back, there was a huskie who was justbeing friendly and ran towards us which made all of us panic and yes, my toe cramp again. hahahha. i think i need to be on my calsium pills again. this time it hurt sooo bad, i kept on swearing. hahahahah! ANYWAY, back to the point, if i have a bf and let's say like i fell or suddenly my leg cramp or anything, and this happens in the public. if he feels embarassed to help me or like just ignore me, my god, i'll break up with him there n then!! tak guna gila. can u imagine if like u're walking with ur frens (boys n girls).. and like u fell or kaki cramp, and the guys just went like "cepat la weh, abaikan jer sakit tuh" or "what's wrong with u" or better just continue walking.. don't u feel like.. ermm.. hmm. i dunno what word to use. hahahhahah! u get my point. lalalallaa.

k, let's change topic now. hahahah! sleepover at nana's place tonight!!!! yay!!!!

Marching thru March

well, seems that i haven't been blogging that often hmm.. cuba teka kenapa... ahhaha bongek. i've been busy with reports, assignments, etc. i don't quite like this university life. but then again, when i start working, i bet i'll say something like "i wish i was back in uni".. and with my uni life being in the UK.. i'm sure gonna miss it at that time. oh well, that's the future, shall not worry about that yet. should be grateful no? but there's so many things to do and every subject is getting tougher! and yes.. i bet one would say "oh well, that's uni life".. urrgh. not going anywhere with this.. therefore, basically, i've gotta enjoy every moment of my uni life and make sure i get good grades!!!! GAMBATE!!! :) (a bit of motivation going on here yall.. hehe.)

a few days back, i watched a video of Dot (my future niece or nephew).. he or she has got arms n legs now!!! and all of us once looked like aliens don't we? when we were in our moms womb when we were just about to form into a normal human shape.. we really really looked like an alien.. u know how people always describe aliens as big head two big eyes.. yea.. like that. and yet we then were created into beautiful human beings.. the wonders of god. Masyaallah. :)
still can't tell whether dot would be a girl or a boy cause the erm.. i forgot the name in english.. it's something cord.. oh yea, the umbillical cord kept covering that part so yea.. can't see yet. dot kept moving, i saw him/her golek2.. so cute. ingat mak dia punya womb swimming pool ker ar. kesian my sis. morning sickness n all. but i guess it's all worth it in the end :D

i had a chat with one of my close frens just now on msn and we were talking about relationships. it all started when i asked her about her status on facebook as she just changed it back to in a relationship. she told me that being together with someone is not like laying on a bed of roses.. it's not all that beautiful..
in my opinion, if u lay on a bed of roses, then it is like being in a relationship then wouldn't it.. yes it's beautiful and all, but sometimes u'll get prick with thorns. soo it's a yes and no thing going on there. hhaha.. but anyway, she told me loads of stuff just now and every single thing that she told me, i found it to be so true. like how u sometimes have to make sacrifices and all those stuff. well, followed by examples from her life. am not going to share it here tho.
i realised that she changed.. her perspective on relationship i mean.. compared to back then. she also said nice things about me not having one yet and all those stuff. which made me feel not pathetic anymore.. HAHHAHAH. but yea.. i'm really really glad that i talked to her just now. she's one person who knows how i feel cause she went thru more or less the same things i went thru.
oh well, my time will come. i have faith.

and yes, i think i ought to go now, got a project to work on. deadline's next week! huhu! fightooo-O!! till then... xoxo!
